The Linda Jamieson School of Dance is a school that provides certificate programs for children between three and 19. Founded by Linda Jamieson, a member of the Royal Academy of Dance, the school offers ballet lessons.
One of the most famous ballet shows throughout the world is the Swan Lake. The Swan Lake was created in 1875 by Tchaikovsky and it offers to the audience an undying story of mystery and magic. The ballet show features Odette, a young woman that was cursed by a sorcerer to be a swan during the day. Odette can only turn back to her human form in the night, which is when she meets prince Siegfried and falls in love with him.
Yet another marvelous piece created by Tchaikovsky, the nutcracker is another renowned ballet dance and show and it represents a Christmas tradition. The nutcracker is enjoyed by people of all ages, from children to adults and presents the story of Clara, a child who was reduced to the size of a mouse. In this story, her nutcracker toy wars against the mouse king.
